I have a different opinion. Diversification has worked for me for several decades - up until past few (oil/service stocks).

Your method of concentration seems to me to be different from Buffett's. Whereas he concentrates his positions based on price to value -- tending to buy more as share price declines, you seem to be more willing to move in and out ("sold out all losers when it was evident they were dragging my portfolio down").
