As the Baby Boom ages the Civilian Labor Force Participation Rate will definitely continue to decline back toward the level we experienced when Ronald Reagan was President.
I'm sure you remember how catastrophic the Reagan era was.

To solve this "problem" Republicans could find a pretext to send a significant percentage of seniors to prison, which eliminates them from this statistic. Perhaps Republicans can make it a Felony to be older than age 65 without $2 million in a savings account. Republicans could also follow the example of the Vladimir Putin, who Fox News continues to openly admire, and reduce Social Security payments to $67 per month and end their Medicare coverage. This would greatly increase the labor force participation rate by reducing the number of seniors still living and quickly sending the rest of them into the labor force. Nothing motivates as much as hunger.

Wealth also has a very corrosive effect on your desire to continue working. Wealth is the primary reason I stopped working at age 42.

Republicans wanting to increase the Labor Participation Rate are looking at ways to destroy American's wealth. As an example, Republicans could introduce an annual 10% wealth tax to stimulate Americans to work harder.

George W. Bush's destructive post-9/11 real estate bubble, was a good first attempt at wealth destruction. It was fueled by a wink and a nod which allowed bank's to make mortgage loans to people without any actual income if they were willing to pay 1/4% more interest. It didn't hurt the largest private lenders offered mortgages which allowed borrowers to skip any 36 mortgage payments, which almost always turned out to be the first 36 payments. This destroyed trillions of Dollars of American wealth held by bank stockholders, which certainly forced many back into the labor force. So as I said, that was a good first attempt by Republicans to destroy America's wealth.

One thing we know for certain is the Republican Party and Fox News remain obsessed by the Civilian Labor Force Participation Rate which guarantees they will take whatever action is necessary to bring this statistic back to the same level it was when Bill Clinton was President, regardless of who gets hurts and how much it damages the American economy.

Another problem area Congressman Paul Ryan has raised are stay-at-home parents who "helicopter-parent", rather than actively participating in the Labor Force as right-thinking Capitalist Mothers do.

Republicans believe a $5,000 annual penalty on stay-at-home Moms will greatly increase our precious Civilian Labor Force Participation Rate and eliminate the social problems caused by "helicopter-parenting".

This Republican newspaper says helicopter-parenting leaves lasting damage making their children less likely to be successful in college and their subsequent success or failure in the workplace.

Republicans say couples who spend too much time away from the Labor Force raising children are far more likely to depend heavily on welfare programs like Social Security and Medicare. One area of frequent abuse are apparently stay at home parents who take advantage of their spouses Social Security credits to continue receiving welfare payments long after their working spouse has died.

Congress would like to close this loophole, which costs taxpayers billions, except for that fact that Barack Obama has promised to veto it.
