I never said it was due to the buyback. I think the buyback is
a stupid use for the firms funds, it would be better to spend it on
R&D or a strategic aquisition. Then again Stebenow & Co aren't
smart enough to realize that!

>>Would you rather buy a well managed company,or would you buy MLIN?

You really know how to make a guy feel bad for owning this dog, as if I don't already feel like jumping off a tower already! <g>.

But really, why do you say that MLIN is not managed well. Isn't it simply a young company with growing pains? Seems to me that if you look at the cycles of highs and lows it does as well as other companies that have far more capitalization, Like CY for instanace.
As for buy back verses R&D, who's to say where the money is better spent, if R&D is not starving and the investor's interest can be maintained by keeping the stock price attractive as possible under the circumstances then aren't both causes served?

This stock has the ability to jump rapidily up the chart as it has shown it's ability to plunge. So...it's volitile, next time I will bail when I make 35% to 40% and maybe buy back on the next downturn.

Jim
