The employer mandate is legally required as of now. But Obama has illegally extended the implementation deadline. Ask yourself why. And frankly, we don't know whether the employer mandate will ever happen at all.


We are talking about the rate of uninsured...so don't change the subject. The effects of escalating penalties, medicaid additional expansion in states that are now moving in that direction and the employer mandate on small (50 emp) companies is still not baked in.

There is no reason at all to think the uninsured rate will continue to decline significantly. Hell, they are millions below where they expected to be and at this point can't even give it away. CBO has cut its forecast from 32 million to 24 million. And will likely cut it more next year.


I will expect an apology from you when you are proven wrong, as you surely will be and you have surely been on a range of topics, this one chief among them.
