jim--

well, for my money, i would rather invest in the guy with the taurus.
i mean AMTXs mark VIII didnt do much more for it than WSTLs taurus, at least not contract wise.

but lets be honest about this. yes they had to license it out to everyone for it to become a standard. but, licensing revenues would never have been substantial enough to justify 40 or 50 a share.there just wasnt enough value in the IP to support such a high price. 20 a share was generous.

dell doesnt own patents on PC processors or OS's, yet it is one of the biggest, most profitable players in the industry. my point is that part of wall st.s problem with valuing WSTL is related to the fact that they dont really understand IP. IP isnt necessary for WSTL to prosper. what IS necessary for WSTL to prosper are contracts. we dont have any of the big ones we were promised. they were supposed to have been signed. at least that much wall st. seems to understand.

what is the status of those 'signed' contracts that were going to be 'substantial'?

give us some facts WSTL!!!

BTW-- have you seen the new town cars? AGGGGHHHHH. another triumph for fords design team. and i thought nothing would top those ugly cars they made in the 70s.

good luck to all,
trey
