Fuchi, what a terrible day! I am totally demoralized:-)
Few months ago I have predicted Intel stock at $68 at year end based on earning estimation of 0.85x4=$3.40. And what is happening? Intel just barely hit $68 and now it is at $68.50!!:-)) What a terrible miscalculations on my part....:-)

Best regards,

Ali

Investor A,

Are you really being realistic here? INTC sell more products than just Microprocessors...

Judge it yourself from the profile that I got from Baseline (research)...My opinion is Long long long and it seems that the negative momentum is slowing down at $67. In addition just take a look at the volume today..over 27Million compared to an average of 17Million and it is up 7/8 meaning their is strong support at about $67 - $70. INTC has not moved too much from that $70 point for the last few days without bouncing back already.

My conclusion is that downward momentum is shrinking. But this stock is still very much violate because of the Asian crisis.

I am not an expert and nobody can say they are either. If anyone is an expert then they wouldn't be here???

I would like to see INTC buy more shares back just like what GE, IBM did.

Here's what they do from Baseline (research)
--------------------------------------------------------------
Intel is the world's #1 maker of microprocessors, with
90% of the market. Its microprocessors -- including
the Pentium -- have been providing the brains for
IBM-compatible PCs since 1981. The company also
makes computer flash-memory chips,
microcontrollers, networking products, and
videoconferencing systems. In an effort to move into
the graphics chips market, Intel agreed to acquire Chips
& Technology. Intel continues to expand and upgrade
its products and facilities to maintain its dominance
over rival chip makers such as Cyrix and Advanced
Micro Devices. The company has plants in Ireland,
Israel, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the US. Nearly
60% of its sales are outside the US.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

>> With the book value of $10.44 and second-class x86 technology, INTC has a
LONG LONG way to fall.

BUY LOW SELL HIGH should be right with any stock. INTC should not be
treated differently. At 60+, INTC is overpriced by 50. At the current price, it
is good to SELL HIGH. Buy it low when it crashes to low 20s.
