It reversed sharply because the jobs that were going to be shed had been shed. All recessions have bottoms; this one was a very sharp downturn -- in anticipation of Obama taking office, and the ensuing upturn should have been sharp. It wasn't, and here we are 7 years later still with major employment problems.



Make up your mind. Considering the magnitude of the mess, it was a sharp reversal...and it happened just as Obama took office...if your assertions were correct the bleeding should have gotten worse...it didn't, it got better...and however you want to spin it, the mess happened under bush...he had been in office SEVEN years...whoever had a hand in creating the mess, and there is plenty of debate on that, he sure had none in preventing it. The buck stops with him.

So, they can become artists and musicians.

Neither Pelosi nor the CBO said that...what they did say is that they would be free to become entrepreneurs...
