Once again, I ask the question. If climate change is a fallacy and the weather is not changing, that still doesn't explain why wingers are opposed to stopping what scientists believe is driving climate change; that is reducing the emission of fossil fuels into the atmosphere. After all, a side benefit would be the improved health of people living in cities. That means that reducing fossil fuel emissions is potentially a twofer....... reducing respiratory ailments and improving the health of residents as well as potentially slowing climate change. And yet, R pols sit on their fat, white asses and object to any reduction in emissions.

No "winger" I know of is opposed to either reducing CO2 emissions or our reliance on fossil fuels. Do you know of one who is?

The opposition is to wasting our kids money. Borrowing money for "Cash for Clunkers" and to pay for a substantial fraction of the cost of certain cars, decommissioning coal plants before the investments in them are recovered, paying more for fuel unnecessarily, and other insanely expensive policies.

There IS a downside in wasting money we don't have. By the time these these costs are amortized, the fuel sources are appropriately depleted, and other technologies have evolved in response to market pressures, alternatives will be here.

It is the same reason we don't put in trains all over the place like you want to.

Climate is constantly changing for natural reasons beyond our control. CO's contribution to it hasn't convincingly been shown to be significant.

"If climate change is a fallacy and the weather is not changing" It's ironic that you are actually in the position of claiming that only manmade CO2 changes the weather or climate and without our CO2 emissions, we'd never have storms or droughts or any unpleasant weather at all.
