Rocky, my previous data gaff aside, your statement "How can we
be sure what you report is accurate?" is LAUGHABLE!

>>Allen, I would like to give you the benefit of a doubt. I'm sure you are generally an honest, upstanding citizen of these United States.

However, you are also an IOM shareholder with a vested interest in seeing Nomai's Zip disc fail. How can we be sure what you report is accurate? A few tosses against a wall will do wonders for disc reliability, don't you think?

Can we have a promise that Rover won't be doing his own product testing before you get a chance to?<<

Rocky -

I can only state my intention to test the Nomai disks fairly and that I will report the results honestly. I will do nothing to the Nomai disks that I will not also do to the Iomega Zip disks which I will use as a control set.

Any individual who reads what I have to say can decide for himself or herself whether I have been fair.

By the way, I do not have a dog to assist me with product testing, and my cats have proven to be indifferent to most computer peripherals and media.

I got the disks by calling Anne Abuhakmeh at Nomai's US marketing office. The disks are supposed to be available to members of the press. I told her who I was and that I was involved on this thread. She had never heard of it, but after a brief explanation agreed to send the disks.

Anne Abuhakmeh can be reached at 408-542-5915.
