Trey, After rereading the Nortel/GTE press release and the Nortel/Netspeed press release, I agree with Bill that it does not look good for Westell. Although it is important to note that GTE states it is only one solution it will be using. From GTE PR <<GTE has selected Nortel (Northern Telecom) AccessNode and AccessNode Express next generation digital loop carrier (NGDLC) platforms as one of the solutions for its national network.>> from Netspeed PR <<Nortel will be integrating NetSpeed's innovative xDSL technology into several of its product lines. The NetSpeed technology will be integrated first into Nortel's AccessNode family of products. This new product, Nortel's High-Speed Module, will begin trials in October 1997.
