Clintons’ UAE Quid Pro Quo

By Dick Morris on March 18, 2015
Published on TheHill.com on March 17, 2015

Bill and Hillary Clinton have carefully cloaked the foreign money they’ve accepted in the garb of charitable fundraising. But alongside the hundreds of millions donated to the Clinton Foundation were tens of millions in personal income from foreign sources, devoid of disguise, a naked example of using political power for personal enrichment. Nowhere has this transaction been as apparent as in the Clintons’ relationship with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In return for millions in speaking and consulting fees, which went right into their personal bank accounts, the former president and former secretary of State — and possible future president — showered favors on the rulers that run this repressive and anti-Semitic government.

It’s hard to grasp the distinction — if there is any — between fees Bill Clinton earned and outright payments to his wife for her influence. For example, during his wife’s tenure as secretary, Bill Clinton collected $1,175,000 for three speeches in the UAE. One, for the Abu Dhabi Global Environmental Data Initiative, at a cost of $500,000, was OKed by the State Department ethics police.

That was the quid (along with the millions sent to the foundation by the UAE). The quo was an ongoing campaign to rehabilitate the image of a regime that ranks in Freedom House’s second-lowest category in human rights. After the revelation that two of the 9/11 hijackers — and much of the money that financed them in the U.S. — came from the UAE, the Emirates needed a major image upgrade.

Enter Bill Clinton.

In 2002, he began speaking in the UAE and recognized the potential gravy train there. That’s also when he joined billionaire Ron Burkle’s Yucaipa Co. That was the Clintons’ real gold mine, netting them more than $15 million from 2002 to 2007. His buyout in 2008 was estimated at up to $20 million.

The former president was indispensable: He delivered Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, prime minister of Dubai, to Yucaipa, and a three-way partnership among Burkle, Clinton and the sheik to create an offshore sovereign fund began.

In 2005, Clinton advised Dubai on the controversial Dubai port deal. Hillary Clinton publicly opposed the deal, but didn’t oppose the $10 million that had already gone into their accounts from Yucaipa.

Clinton continuously raised the profile of the UAE by creating a Clinton scholarship program at the American University in Dubai and partnering with two other Dubai-based firms: GEMS schools and the Varkey Foundation. His take from them is unknown. He made introductions and brought in close associates as investors in the UAE like Teneo, NYU and McLarty Associates.

Bill Clinton’s a real regular over there. On Monday, he was in Dubai, speaking alongside the sheik at the Hult International Business School, a partner of the Clinton Global Initiative.

But it was Hillary Clinton who did the heavy lifting in delivering to the UAE what it most craved: international respect. In September of 2012, the secretary of State hosted a Global Infrastructure Conference at the State Department for 90 CEOs or high-level American executives to learn about investment opportunities in the UAE and three other countries. Seven UAE officials joined Hillary Clinton herself in addressing the conference.

Several months later, the former first lady promoted the first Global Entrepreneurship Summit, also sponsored by the State Department, in Dubai, bringing investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world into the UAE. The UAE was publicly legitimized by the U.S. in Hillary Clinton’s last days in office.

Bill and Hillary Clinton set up a gigantic money-making machine, trading on her power as secretary of State and her potential to be the next president. The question for us is: Are we willing to let them take it to the next level?

The ACTUAL “Hands Up! Don’t Shoot!”

This is the man that was shot by a bunch of “bored thugs.”

by Brooke Bosca | Top Right News

A man out for a walk with his dog last week was gunned down by three Black teens. And when police found the man’s body, they made a heartbreaking find right next to it.

As NBC Philadelphia reported, the three black teens got “bored” playing basketball and decided to go rob someone. After seeing one man with a large dog, and deciding not to rob him, they then saw 51-year-old James Patrick Stuhlman walking his terrier.

Stuhlman typically walked his dog with his 13-year-old daughter. But on the night of his murder, March 12, he had told her to stay home because it was getting dark out, which very likely saved her life.

As he walked down the street, Stuhlman, who owned a local landscaping company, saw three teens approach him. Then they grabbed and robbed him, and shot him once in the leg. They could have just taken his money and ran at that point. But they did not.

At one point, he did plead for his life, Captain James Clark said Thursday at a news conference, according to the New York Daily News. He said, ‘Please don’t shoot me, please don’t shoot me,’ and they still shot him one more time.

That second shot took his life.

So “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” really did happen — not in Ferguson — but in a Black-on-White capital murder in Philadelphia.

So can we expect Barack Obama and Eric Holder to demand a civil right investigation? Don’t bet on it.

Police have arrested 15-year-old Brandon Smith. They also arrested a 14-year-old whose name has been withheld — because he is supposedly a “child.”.

They said they decided to rob Stuhlman because his dog was smaller than their intended first target. The shooter who gunned down this father in cold blood, 15-year old Tyfine Hamilton, is “still at large”. Philadelphia police consider him “armed and dangerous.”

Smith has been charged in relation to the murder and is still in custody. But the unnamed teen was inexplicably just charged with robbery despite being an accessory to murder. Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Hamilton.

Typically, the teens have all been in trouble with the law in the past. It is stunning at what early age vicious murderers are now made. 15? Unbelievable.

Capt. Clark warned Hamilton at a press conference: “Get with your parent and turn yourself in before we come and get you…We know where you are.”

Philadelphia Police Lt. John Walker said that when police arrived at the scene Stuhlman was laying in a pool of blood and was already unresponsive. The family man still had his flashlight in his hand.

But what police found next to him was heartbreaking. His dog was pawing him, sniffing at his face, and whimpering.

“The dog was lying next to him — appeared to be scared and in shock,” Walker said.

“His daughter goes for a walk with him almost every night,” Clark said. “For whatever reason, he said to her, ‘it’s a little late tonight I don’t want you walking with me.’ So in effect, he may have saved his daughter’s life.”

Thank God he did, but that is small consolation for the young girl who is now without a father, and will forever fear walking at dusk, thanks to the savage brutality these young monsters inflicted on her own dad.

Author’s personal note: I don’t usually do this, but feel I must. The media is censoring this story. You know why. They made the Michael Brown fraud front page news for months. But they will bury this REAL “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” horror. It is up to you to share this article with everyone you know. We can bypass the media censorship and get the truth out there. Thank you. -BB

Rasmussen Finds Majority Don’t Buy Governmedia’s Racist Police Hogwash

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but even in a culture lobotomized by television, the spectacle staged by the establishment media and the Obama Regime in Ferguson is not fooling most. From Rasmussen::

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 24% of Likely U.S. Voters think white police officers shooting innocent black people is a bigger problem in America today than blacks shooting each other. Sixty-two percent (62%) believe black people shooting other blacks is the bigger problem.… 61% think the media instead overhype incidents in which blacks are shot by white police officers. Twenty-eight percent (28%) disagree…

Sixty-three percent (63%) say media coverage is making it more dangerous for police officers to do their jobs. Twenty-six percent (26%) don’t believe this is true… 56% think the Justice Department is more concerned with politics than with making sure justice is done when it decides to investigate a local crime like the Brown shooting independent of the local police. Just 34% say the Justice Department is more interested in making sure justice is done, while 10% are not sure.

Despite relentless attempts at brainwashing by the media, a majority of the population has some idea of what is being pulled here. Only fools and leftist ideologues (excuse the redundancy) still take the MSM’s narratives at face value anymore.

Some do agree with the media’s viewpoint.
