when everybody starts talking about the january euphoria, chances are that it won't happen.
syntel will do good, but its stock price rise will have to be validated by earnings.
remember, the tech bear market has officially started, and perceptions are different now with respect to the tech stocks than before. yes, synt is a US based stock trying to capitalize on the cheaper offshore labor market, and the asian flu will not affect it at all, but for now, the market has lumped it with other tech stocks. only earnings can redeem syntel out of this mess.
just my opinion.
