TI and GoDSP

I think the question to ask is if SSPIF does a competitive product:

<<<
GO DSP's products include Code Composer(TM) and Code Explorer. The company was established in 1994 and employs 15 full-time professionals. GO DSP will remain in Canada and will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Texas Instruments.>>>

They do development tools:

>>>As an increasing number of embedded systems rely on DSP solutions, the choice of DSP development tools has a major impact on time-to-market, product reliability, quality and, ultimately, a product's success. In addition, as the industry shifts to a software-focused development paradigm, software is increasingly affecting a product's features. By facilitating fast and seamless DSP software development cycles, GO DSP's products stand alone as the industry's only tool sets ready to meet these challenges.>>>

I've been told they do not compete, but will in fact benefit Spectrum.
