Thinkprogress: Walker biased against witches Wicca Witch of the Left by Dr. Tar • 03/24/2015 • 14 Comments In the latest attempt to find any mud to toss at Governor Walker (WI-R), Think Progress dug up a 14 year old story from his days in the State Assembly. As Chairman of the Committee on Corrections and the Courts, Walker had the temerity to oppose the hiring of Rev. Jamyi Witch (literally a Wiccan Witch) as a chaplain for the maximum security prison in Waupun. Of course, the diversity lunatics at Think Progress think it’s awful and so insensitive to try to block a practitioner of this equally legitimate religion from being on the state payroll. More I question just how qualified a Wiccan Witch is for counseling prison inmates at a maximum security facility as compared to say an actual minister. Like someone who has graduated from a four year program (including extensive training in counseling) from an accredited institution. I did a little follow up on Jamyi Witch and discovered just how wicked she turned out to be. Seems Witch was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting the inmates. Charges were dropped but I don’t think she’s working at Waupun anymore. I asked Think Progress if they still believe she was well qualified to work with prisoners in a maximum security facility.
