"I remain skeptical that anything materially beneficial is coming here, except perhaps the possibility that the company finds religion and hunkers down like the rest of their peers.."
I think I mentioned something before about drunken sailors blowing through money like there was no tomorrow but this has been like someone that escaped from jail and was on on some sort of whore hunt before being captured.
Carmax? Ah geeze...
My understanding is that a 30% share drop in a few days is not a "healthy" pullback. Sure. It beats ten cents and made me think twice but this time I didn't bite....

I hate when you're right....but I'm afraid we are back to regular programming. I think our only chance resides in a buyout and/or hope.

Now I can see how a pump/dump can be beneficial to the already well-off. Buy as much as you can to cause the SP to rocket, other unsuspecting investors will follow and buy in the hype and then sell starting with your first purchases (which were bought on the cheap) on the descent. Don't forget to use a stock who's investors' hope and desperation make them easy target for dropping even more good money into the trap. Nice.
