I have been active in GOP circles for decades and have NEVER met anyone in the party who is "anti-science".

You are FOS as usual.

>> For about a decade starting in the late 1960s there was a significant anti-science contingent in the Democratic party.

There is a very strong anti-science contingent amongst Democrats today.

Which has been the heart of the anti-GMO movement, the idiots paying premiums at Whole Foods, the anti-vaccine movement, and those who refute the long established precepts of behavioral science.

And just recently, those who argued that homosexuality is NOT a choice, in spite of overwhelming proof there is a strong element of choice.

Oh, and then of course, Global Warming, where the "scientists" have abandoned all pretense of science, preferring instead the science of publicity campaigns.

Yeah, you guys are all about science all right.

CJ,
To be fair, the anti-science people are always with us.
The latest "anti-science" trend is against Monsanto and so-called "GMOs."

Guess what? This movement is aligned with left-wing activism, including MoveOn.org.

Who's "anti-science" now?

89% of scientists believe that GMOs are safe.
