Gee, do you think this is relevant? Germanwings co-pilot reported to be a 'recent convert to Islam'
..........................................................................
Israel Matzav ^ | 3/26/15 | Carl in Jerusalem

Many in the politically correct media are becoming annoyed with questions regarding the religious beliefs of Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Gunter Lubitz. Lubitz locked the pilot out of the cabin of an Airbus A-320 jet over the French Alps on Tuesday and crashed the plane into a mountain at 434 miles per hour, killing himself and murdering an additional 140 people.
Questions about the religious background of Andreas Lubitz, the Germanwings pilot who investigators said deliberately crashed a plane in the French Alps this week, killing all on board, have sparked outrage and debate about whether such information is relevant to the investigation. When a reporter asked French Prosecutor Brice Robin of Marseille, during a news conference Thursday, whether he knew Lubitz’s religion, Robin said he did not know and added, “I don’t think that’s where the answer to this lies.” The question suggested that Lubitz’s religious background was relevant to the investigation behind the pilot’s alleged deliberate downing of Germanwings Flight 9525 on Tuesday. Robin said the crash did not show any signs of terrorism. Some were appalled by the reporter’s inquiry.

“This line of questioning makes no sense to me whatsoever,” said Elizabeth Shakman Hurd, an associate professor of political science with a courtesy appointment in religious studies at Northwestern University in Illinois. “I find it disturbing and depressing that at a time like this some people feel compelled to search desperately for explanations that presume religious causation.”

Really, Professor Hurd? NO SENSE? It's all just a coincidence?
In 1999, the pilot of a Boeing 767 intentionally plunged the fully loaded plane into the Atlantic Ocean 30 minutes after takeoff from New York City on a nonstop flight to Cairo. An investigation found the pilot, Gamal al-Batouti, had said several times in Arabic, “I rely on God,” as the plane's autopilot function was disconnected and Egypt Air 999 plunged. The phrase is often associated with the moments before death. The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board concluded that no mechanical event could have caused the plane to dive. But Egyptian officials never accepted the conclusion that al-Batouti had intentionally crashed, and conspiracy theories spread.

And another one that this article does not mention: Malaysia Airlines 370.
Investigators are now telling the London Telegraph that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was taken on a suicide mission.

The team investigating the Boeing 777’s disappearance believe no malfunction or fire was capable of causing the aircraft’s unusual flight or the disabling of its communications system before it veered wildly off course on a seven-hour silent flight into the sea. An analysis of the flight’s routing, signalling and communications shows that it was flown “in a rational way”.

An official source told The Telegraph that investigators believe “this has been a deliberate act by someone on board who had to have had the detailed knowledge to do what was done ... Nothing is emerging that points to motive.”

Asked about the possibility of a plane malfunction or an on-board fire, the source said: “It just does not hinge together... [The investigators] have gone through processes you do to get the plane where it flew to for eight hours. They point to it being flown in a rational way.”

... The flight remains shrouded in mystery and misinformation. Malaysia Airlines revealed for the first time yesterday that Fariq Abdul Hamid, the 27-year-old co-pilot, was on his first flight aboard a Boeing 777 as a fully-approved pilot. Fariq joined the airline seven years ago and had flown 2,763 hours but was only on his sixth flight in the cockpit of a 777 – and his first without a check pilot overseeing him.

But analysts said the co-pilot’s inexperience in a 777 cockpit would probably not have posed a risk.

Somewhat surprisingly, Malaysia Airlines said last night its “prayers go out to all the loved ones of the 226 passengers and of our 13 friends and colleagues” – even though the passenger manifest shows 227 passengers and 12 crew. The airline has not yet explained the discrepancy.

Would not have posed a risk, but would have made it much more likely that it took him a while to figure out what was going on. And most of the passengers probably never knew what happened. Unless someone had a transponder (unlikely), most passengers on a flight like that would just go to sleep. The crew probably served dinner without realizing what their captain had done. From the families' perspective, they might take some solace in the fact that the passengers probably died peacefully - many of them in their sleep.

The captain - distraught over a divorce and over his political idol being jailed, and devout in his Muslim religion (that which must never be mentioned) - took them all down with him.
While French authorities are refusing to discuss Lubitz's religion, Christian websites are reporting that Lubitz was a recent convert to Islam.
It was said that Lubitz had a Muslim girlfriend. It is unclear if she was still dating Lubitz at the time of the crash. It is unclear if he met the woman through his Muslims friends.

One said that Lubitz had broken off the relationship after he pledged to commit Jihad for Allah.

We do know that Lubitz trained at the Lufthansa Flight Training School in Bremen, Germany.

Bremen is home to the Mosque Masjidu-l-Furqan Mosque:

This Mosque was raided by the police in December 2014

BERLIN, Dec 5 (KUNA) — German authorities have closed a mosque in the northern city of Bremen, after it was accused of encouraging youth to join the extremist Islamic State group (known as ISIL), which is carrying out violent killings across Syria and Iraq.

In unprecedented circumstances, more than 100 German police personnel carried out a search of Masjidu-l-Furqan and its accompanying cultural office, which had both been under police radar since 2007.

The decision comes amid the fight against ISIL ideology, Bremen Interior Secretary Ulrich Maurer said, accusing the mosque’s management of promoting ISIL values and encouraging young Muslims in the city to travel to Syria and Iraq, and join the ranks of the group, along with Al-Nusra Front – another extremist group in Syria.

The centre have so far succeeded in inspiring a total eight men, seven women and 11 juveniles to travel to Syria and join ISIL, according to the official. Lubitz did his time in Bremen when the Mosque was under surveillance.

...

Lubitz converted to Islam during his break.

Reason that pushed Lubitz over the edge? The raid on the Mosque in Breman this past December?

The Police say they found a significant discovery in his home - not a suicide note:

Police investigating the Germanwings crash said they had made a 'significant discovery' at the home of co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, who deliberately ploughed the Airbus A320 into the French Alps. Officers refused to reveal details of the potential breakthrough but said it was not a suicide note. Speaking outside the flat on the outskirts of Dusseldorf, police said they had 'found something' that would now be taken for tests, adding it may be a 'clue' as to what happened to the doomed jet. Daily Mail Read More>>> Is the significant discovery something Islamic? Something on his computer? A Koran? A Muslim prayer rug? And for those of you who - like me - have the choice of flying Israeli, European or American airlines, here is a sobering thought:
The A320 is designed with safeguards to allow emergency entry if a pilot inside is unresponsive, but the override code known to the crew does not go into effect — and indeed goes into a lockdown — if the person inside the cockpit specifically denies entry, according to an Airbus training video and a pilot who has six years of experience with the jets. Airlines in Europe are not required to have two people in the cockpit at all times, unlike the standard U.S. operating procedure after the 9/11 attacks changed to require a flight attendant to take the spot of a briefly departing pilot.

Sounds like the US procedure is a good idea. I don't know what the Israeli procedure is, but I would guess there is some kind of safeguard to keep a lone pilot from crashing a plane.

What a sad commentary on our times that these things are necessary.

Isn't it time you upgraded your Race Card to a Gay Card?
...............................................................................................

Komissar al-Blogunov
2/14/2015,

Comrades, glorious news! You can now upgrade your old, outdated Race Card™ to a Gay Card™! What's a Gay Card? Why, it's like the old fashioned Race Card, but on steroids.

You see, the venerable Race Card is starting to lose its edge, and white people are becoming less and less prone to bouts of guilt, self-doubt, and introspective soul searching for deep, subconscious, genetically coded racist tendencies. In fact, some white people even laugh off the Race Card when it's presented.

But those days are over! That's right, with the new Gay Card you can do anything the old Race Card could do, and more!

For example, do you want to use spurious constitutional arguments to insist your rights trump the rights of others? Would you like to demand access to the privately owned property and services of others all the while retaining the right to deny services to those who disagree with you? Are you looking for Victim Status™ even if you happen to have the misfortune of being white?

Well, then, it's time you upgraded to the powerful new Gay Card!

Use the chart below to compare...

Why settle for this?

When you could have this!

Upgrade today, comrades. The Gay Card™ is the best thing since the ObamaPhone.

UPDATE FOR PARTY MEMBERS:

As Comrade Gummipuppe points out in the comments below, Party members should also read the small print - namely, the Useful Idiot Clause in the Terms of Agreement:

This kard shall expire upon kompletion of the the "fundamental transformation" of Amerika. At that time, kard holders shall be subject to penalties, inkluding, but not limited to: discrimination, persekution, imprisonment, torture, forced labor, and death under the laws and direktives enakted and upheld by the Peoples Kongress, the Supreme Soviet, and Komrade Glorious Leader. Do not use this kard while kriticizing Komrade Glorious Leader and other high party officials, as this may decrease your life expectancy. Use at your own risk.

Africa on Fire: Jihad on the March
..........................................................................
terrortrendsbulletin.com

In recent years it has become increasingly clear that the Jihadists have targeted the African continent.

On September 11, 2001, the groups Al Shabaab, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, Ansar al Shariah and the Islamic State were not just unheard of–they didn’t even exist.

Today these groups are waging Jihad, killing thousands in their drives to establish Islamic rule under Shariah law

This development didn’t just “happen.” The rise of Jihad was promoted and financed. Africa is becoming a battleground because the global Jihadist movement has targeted it.

At least one analyst reports that Al Qaeda, the Islamic State and Boko Haram are all training in the Saharan desert nation of Mauritania:

foxnews.com

Here are details from just the past few weeks:

Boko Haram

Human Rights Watch reports that Boko Haram has killed 1,000 people so far this year in four different African nations (Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger):

christianheadlines.com

Earlier this week, Boko Haram carried out yet another mass kidnapping:

dailymail.co.uk

As pressure mounts on Boko Haram from the militaries of various African nations, the Jihadis have begun using human shields:

abcnews.go.com

Al Shabaab

Earlier this week, Al Shabaab attacked a hotel in Mogadishu, killing 17 and wounding 28:

itv.com

Al Shabaab carried out an attack last week in Kenya, killing five Christians:

assistnews.net

The US has issued a warning of a possible attack by Al Shabaab in Uganda’s capital city, Kampala:

matthewaid.com

Australia’s government has issued a travel alert warning about possible attacks by Al Shabaab in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi:

businessinsider.com

Al Shabaab has taken a page from the Islamic State’s propaganda manual, producing a video showing the barbaric and cowardly execution of unarmed civilians:

dailymail.co.uk

Ansar al Shariah

Last week, Ansar al Shariah killed 23 mostly Western tourists in an attack on the Bardo museum in Tunis (there may also have been Al Qaeda involvement):

voanews.com

Ansar al Shariah was also at work in Libya, where in Benghazi an Islamikaze bomber killed 7 at an army checkpoint:

timeslive.co.za

Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb

In Mali, Jihadists with AQIM beheaded a civilian for cooperating with the French Army, which has been doing a bang up job of clobbering AQIM Jihadists in Mali for a few years now…

news.yahoo.com

Islamic State

A Libyan government official warns that the Islamic State is planning attacks on Italy, possibly using airliners missing in Libya for some time.

washingtontimes.com

Earlier this month, Islamic State Jihadis attacked Libya’s largest oil field, beheading 8 Libyan guards and taking 9 foreigners hostage (2 Bangladeshi hostages were subsequently released):

iinanews.org

Ironically, after aiding Jihadists in Libya a few years ago, US government officials are now worried that the Islamic State is making inroads in Libya:

reuters.com

What all this indicates is that the global Jihadist movement is getting stronger and spreading its violent attacks to more areas of the world, giving them more training areas, launching pads and recruiting fodder with which to wage war against America and the West.

Why is the Obama so attuned to appeasing the Islamic world by refusing to connect Islam extremism to the continued destruction and slaughter of Christians around the world

Obama Choses Demonization over Faith!

Canada Free Press ^ | 04/08/15 | Leigh Bravo

At a time when Christians were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, an Islamic terrorist group, Al-Shabaab,slaughtered 147 innocent students. All Christians. Yet again, President Obama refused to acknowledge that the continuous slaughter of Christians around the world by Islamic extremists are actually connected to Islam in any way.

President Obama was able to complete his entire statement regarding the slaughter at Garissa University College without mentioning the words, “Christian,” “Islam,” “Al-Shabaab,” “Islamists,” or “Islamic extremism.”

However, on Tuesday morning’s Easter Prayer Breakfast, President Obama managed to single out and demonize Christians once again.

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love, and I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expression by Christians, I get concerned.”

Instead of celebrating Easter,t, President Obama decided it was appropriate to stray from his planned speech to remind us that Christians, in his opinion, are“less-than-loving?

”Did he choose to tell us how “less-than-loving”the Islamic extremists were that chose to slaughter 147 Kenyan students because of their Christian beliefs? Did he choose to tell us how horrific the slaughter and persecution of Christians around the world has been?

“We are not at war with Islam”-
Obama.

“And lest we get on our high horse?....remember during the Crusades and the Inquisition people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.”-Obama

  • “Slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”-Obama

  • Obama is also highly critical of the Religious freedom laws in Indiana and Arkansas because he believes this will allow Christians to discriminate against gays, even though the laws make it illegal to discriminate against anyone. However, when a Muslim bakery is caught on tape refusing to bake a gay wedding cake, the silence from this White House was deafening. Does his blanket condemnation only apply to Christians?

If our President refuses to attach “Islamic” extremism to the continued beheadings, burnings and abuse of innocents, then why does he find it so easy to attach “non-loving statements” and the “violence in the Crusades” and “Jim Crow laws” to Christians?

Why is the President of the United States so attuned to appeasing the Islamic world by refusing to connect Islam extremism to the continued destruction and slaughter of Christians around the world, rather than focusing on lifting up the American people and the world with words of hope and inspiration to believers of all faiths?

Brandeis Invites Israel-Hater Pickering To Be Commencement Speaker
    ..........................................................................................................................
    4.8.2015 Peter Malcolm
    truthrevolt.org

    Brandeis University
, named for ardent Zionist and Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandies, which rescinded its honorary degree to noted activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali last year, deeming her too controversial for Muslim students, has extended an invitation to vehemently anti-Israel former ambassador Thomas Pickering to be the commencement speaker for 2015.

Pickering’s history in recent years has been extremely hostile to Israel; last year he, along with noted Israel-hater Zbigniew Brzezinski, Henry Siegman, Lee Hamilton, Frank Carlucci and Carla Hills, wrote a letter including statements like, “The United States has allowed the impression that it supports a version of Israel’s security that entails Israeli control of all of Palestine’s [sic] borders and part of its territory” “Israel’s confiscation of what international law has clearly established as others’ territory,” Israel’s “illegal land grabs only add to the Palestinian and the larger Arab sense of injustice that Israel’s half-century-long occupation has already generated,” “No Palestinian leader could or would ever agree to a peace accord that entails turning over the Jordan Valley to Israeli control,” “these Israeli demands can hardly justify the permanent subjugation and disenfranchisement of a people to which Israel refuses to grant citizenship in the Jewish state.” The Israelis “do not have the right to demand that Palestinians abandon their own national narrative, and the United States should not be party to such a demand.”

As Lori Marcus writes for the Jewish Press, Pickering “fervently believes Israel is inappropriately coddled by the Obama administration and that the Jewish state has stolen land from the mythical land of Palestine, despite the ‘Palestinians’ having graciously conceded a huge chunk of the land ‘assigned’ to the ‘Palestinians in 1947.’

The letter also claimed, “Although Palestinians have conceded fully half of the territory assigned to them in the U.N.’s Partition Plan of 1947.” As Marcus points out, “There were no Arabs claiming to be ‘Palestinians’ in 1947, so there was no assignment of land to ‘Palestinians,’ but instead to undifferentiated Arabs in the region … the Arabs to whom the land was assigned refused that assignment and instead chose to go to war rather than have any Jewish state at all in the region. What are they talking about? There was no concessions by the Arabs, ‘Palestinians’ or otherwise. Instead, there was a humiliating defeat of the five Arab nations which attacked the tiny ragtag Jewish army and lost.”

Bill Schaller, Brandeis’s “executive director of integrative media,” told the Jewish Press that Pickering has had a “long and diverse career, which has often included staunch advocacy for Israel.”

NEW YORK TIMES Writer Says Christians Must Embrace Faggotry
    .............................................................................................................................

NYT Writer: Christians ‘Must Be Made’ to Embrace Gay Lifestyle

    Reuters
    by Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.8 Apr 2015 4578

In the wake of the Indiana donnybrook over religious liberty, which somehow was transformed overnight into a question of gay rights, it couldn’t be long before the New York Times weighed in against Christians.Yet who could have expected the draconian measures the Times would propose? Either Christians fully embrace the gay lifestyle, or you will be coerced into doing so.

Op-ed writer Frank Bruni, onetime Times restaurant critic and a gay activist, has written that Christians who hold on to “ossified,” biblically-based beliefs regarding sexual morality have no place at America’s table and are deserving of no particular regard.

In one fell swoop, Bruni trashes all believing Christians as “bigots,” saying that Christians’ negative moral assessment of homosexual relations is “a choice” that “prioritizes scattered passages of ancient texts over all that has been learned since — as if time had stood still, as if the advances of science and knowledge meant nothing.”

In other words, if you still cling to your benighted views and your “ancient texts,” you are living in the past and your views merit no respect.

Bruni’s solution to the impasse is not some sort of goodwill compromise or a treaty of mutual respect, but a take-no-prisoners ultimatum to Christians to abandon their beliefs or else. When Bruni says that Christians’ understanding of sexual morality is “a choice,” what he means is that there is a way out without completely losing face: just embrace the new morality preached by mainstream liberal churches that see nothing wrong with any sexual arrangement you are comfortable with. Then we will accept you.

As a food critic, NY Times writer Frank Bruni was entertaining and occasionally informative. As an op-ed columnist he is adolescent and often repetitive. But as a theologian, he is simply abysmal.

Bruni takes it upon himself to explain how the Bible can be interpreted to read that God is really fine with sodomy and that all that antiquated stuff against adultery, fornication, and “men lying with other men” is a quaint vestige of an archaic worldview that went out definitively with Freud.

The scary part about Bruni’s essay is not his awkward attempt at playing the biblical scholar, but the undertone of evident disdain for Christians and his proposal that those who resist should be forcibly reeducated.

In Christians’ refusal to bend with the times, Bruni sees not faithfulness to God but willful obstinacy that must be broken.

“So our debate about religious freedom should include a conversation about freeing religions and religious people from prejudices that they needn’t cling to and can indeed jettison, much as they’ve jettisoned other aspects of their faith’s history, rightly bowing to the enlightenments of modernity,” Bruni writes.

But what if Christians don’t want to change? What if they don’t want to “bow to the enlightenments of modernity”? What if they are convinced that the modern worldview is not necessarily the most enlightened path when it comes to the ultimate meaning of life and death, time and eternity?

“Religion,” writes Bruni, “is going to be the final holdout and most stubborn refuge for homophobia. It will give license to discrimination.”

And thus it must be stamped out.

Bruni cites fellow gay activist Mitchell Gold, founder of the advocacy group Faith in America, as saying that church leaders must be made to take homosexuality off the sin list. “His commandment is worthy — and warranted,” writes Bruni.

So now government should be dictating belief to churches and enforcing theological orthodoxy?

Now politicians and courts will be telling Christians what they are allowed to consider as sinful?

Isn’t this what America was founded to escape from?

People are already talking about forcing churches to perform same-sex weddings, whether they like it or not, or get out of the marriage business. Christians founded America and yet now the minority gay lobby is trying to tell them they are personae non gratae and their beliefs are no longer welcome.

America has a grand tradition of tolerance and religious freedom, respect for a diversity of beliefs, and an honest engagement with ideas of all sorts. It seems that some would like to force all Americans to walk in lockstep, marching to the same drummer.

Sincere Christians have no problem accepting other people with all their sins, inclinations, and struggles, fully understanding that they are in no way superior to the next guy and no better in God’s eyes.

But attempts to force them to abandon their ethical standards and their principles reveal not open-mindedness or fairness, but intolerance, chauvinism, and hate.

These are the attitudes that have no place in America.

Judge hammers white victims of armed home invasion for racism, lets criminal go free

    .................................................................................................
    BizPac Review ^ | 4/13/2015 | Joe Saunders

Outrage! Judge hammers white victims of armed home invasion for racism, lets criminal go free

Talk about blaming the victims! Outrage is growing over a Kentucky judge who let a home invader who robbed a family at gunpoint off with probation after a openly criticizing the victims for letting their child be afraid of black men because of the crime.

Judge Olu Stevens of the Jefferson Circuit Court appeared even more offended by the victim impact statements offered by the family who was robbed than he was by the fact that a crime had been committed at all.

Now, a movement is afoot to have the judge removed from office.

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, Jordan and Tommy Gray were held at gunpoint with their then 3-year-old daughter during a March 31, 2013, home invasion by two black men, one of whom was being sentenced for the crime in February.

Gregory Wallace, 27, had pleaded to the robbery, but Stevens declined to send him to prison, a decision he announced after a lengthy attack on the family whose home was robbed. The other home invader, who had a prior record, had already been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The judge was “deeply offended” at the portion of Jordan Gray’s victim impact statement where she described the effect the night of terror had on her daughter.

“This incident has had the most impact on my daughter,” Jordan Gray wrote. “She is in constant fear of black men. When we are running errands, if we come across a black male, she holds me tight and begs me to leave. If (she) is playing in a room and I walk into another, she freaks out. It has affected her friendships at school and our relationship with African American friends.”

That statement, one that the victim apparently volunteered in good faith, is seemingly meant to show dismay at the corrosive effect of violent crime – how it eats at the basic fabric of society beginning with even its youngest members.

Stevens didn’t take it that way. In fact he took it another way entirely – that the Grays are somehow to blame for the reactions of a pre-schooler whose short acquaintance with the world is based entirely on what she perceives.

Instead of being outraged at the criminal, Stevens vented at the victims.

“It troubles me greatly what this statement says,” he said at Wallace’s sentencing. “I would want to make that part of the record, I am offended by that.

“If the perpetrator had been white, would they be in fear of white men?” he asked.

“It’s not going to affect what happens here,” he said, but “I’m going to make this part of the record.”

He then sentenced a man who pleaded guilty to robbery – a robbery that involved breaking into a peaceful home and threatening a man, his wife and a young girl at gunpoint – to probation instead of prison. No matter what the legalities might say, that’s the same as freedom.

Stevens later went on Facebook to justify himself.

“Do three year olds form such generalized, stereotyped and racist opinions of others?” he wrote. “I think not. Perhaps the mother had attributed her own views to her child as a manner of sanitizing them.”

The victimized family and prosecutors were outraged by the judge’s remarks and sentencing, understandably, but legal experts and ethicists were critical too.

Indiana University law professor Charles Geyh told the Courier-Journal the statement left the Stevens’ impartiality open to question.

“While the judge insisted that his judgment was unaffected by the victim statement, the issue is whether a reasonable observer would think likewise,” he said. “Maybe not.”

Twitter commenters on Stevens’ Facebook clearly didn’t believe the judge.
