You "can" but it may not last, if the source changes. Well, there is one 'new feature' that actually is improvement. At least I think this didn't work in the past. I just tried on Linux, used default screen shot program, I captured part of the screen, copy it to clip board and I could paste it directly here into this post. This eliminate saving picture first on your computer and then when trying to insert it, browse for it.... This is much easier, more convenient. I'm pretty sure it should work similar with Windows 7+ (8,10...) built in Snipping Tool.
