Anyone tell me simply why to invest in a company that has had some
deep losses?...

and why hasnt it been offered as an IPO yet?

If it is oversubscribed and you are not an institution, then probably not. On these kind of deals if you can get the stock on the offering ... you generally shouldn't take it. It's like the old Groucho Marx comment that he didn't want to go to parties where he could get invited.
