That's why it says "under God", and not "in front of God". FWIW, I've suggested we pledge allegiance to the Bear Flag, and and to the Republic... National Grange has kicked California out, and is suing us for being hippies. I think they were recently ordered to pay our all court costs, so maybe we'll outlast them. They tried to repossess the word "Grange", and found out that Cal Grange was incorporated B4 National. Anyway, we should salute our own flag. truth-out.org
