The Congressional Budget Office announced on Monday that the Affordable Care Act will cost $142 billion, or 11 percent, less over the next 10 years, compared to what the agency had projected in January.

The nonpartisan agency said the Affordable Care Act will cost less for two essential reasons. The first, and most significant, is that health insurance premiums are rising more slowly, and thus requires less of a government subsidy.

In addition, slightly fewer people are now expected to sign up for Medicaid and for subsidized insurance under the law's marketplaces. That's because the agency now says that more people than anticipated already had health insurance before the law took effect, and fewer companies than anticipated are canceling coverage. All in all, three million fewer people are expected to sign up for Affordable Care Act provisions by 2025.

.....so Al....what would you estimate the cumulative Obamacare years shortfall after 10 years relative to the initial projections if there are 3 million less than projected in year ten..........(add up the number less than projected in each year from 1 to 10).......just give me your crude estimate........5M,10M,15M,20M, 25M...whatever......or do you believe the cumulative shortfall total for ALL 10 years is 3 million?

LOL Al, ObamaCare is still running a deficit of $1.2 trillion over 10 years ($1.7 trillion in costs, $500 billion in revenue). That's straight out of the CBO report which you linked to.

But wait! The CBO claimed that ObamaCare would actually reduce the deficit! Well, not anymore: thefiscaltimes.com

Turns out that the initial claims of "cost savings" were just comparing one forecast with another, not actual costs. Even the latest claims of "cost savings" is based on changed projections.

You see, unlike you, I can actually think critically.
