Curious question about manipulation.

I'm curious because I don't know how it works. If Yahoo was to be manipulated (I don't know if it is or isn't) what are the ways it could be done?

Can you explain a rational for why YHOO is a buy at $50, but a short at $70? Does that mean you can justify some fundamental support for paying $50, or some reason why $70 is too high? Or is it just some technical theory (which, of course, have all been proven to fail in every MBA school in the country). I'd be interested in hearing your rational for this relatively narrow range. Personally, I wouldn't buy this one above $10.
