BUSTED: Media Ignores Younger Tsarnaev Brother Connection to Muslim Student Group
.........................................................................................
April 6, 2015 by Charles C. Johnson

Tamerlan Tsarnaev listens to anti-American imam in Boston. The imam was banned from leaving Morocco but somehow came to U.S.

Reprinted from Daily Caller in April 2013

Coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing has ignored admitted bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s connection to his college’s Muslim Student Association, a group that has close relations with both the Muslim Brotherhood and a local imam friendly with an al-Qaida operative.

Although a student leader and the mainstream media have downplayed Tsarnaev’s ties to the the group, Tsarnaev associated frequently with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.

The Washington Post on April 27 reported that Tsarnaev, who has admitted his role in the Marathon terrorist bombing to police, played intramural soccer with MSA members, contradicting earlier reports that the U. Mass-Dartmouth student spurned an invitation to join the controversial Muslim Brotherhood-linked student organization.

“For a time, Jahar played on an intramural soccer team composed of students involved with the campus Muslim Student Association,” explained the Post’s Marc Fisher, a fact that has since been missing from coverage.

In fact, Tsarnaev played soccer with the Muslim Student Association nearly every week, according to MSA Secretary Bassel Nasri in an interview with George Stephanopoulos and Diane Sawyer on April 19, 2013. Nasri simply neglected to say they were MSA games. Although Stephanopoulos described Nasri as “a soccer buddy” of Tsarnaev, neither he nor Sawyer mentioned that they were co-religionists and that the soccer games were organized by the Muslim Student Association.

Nasri was later interviewed by CNN and again didn’t mention that he had known Tsarnaev through the Muslim Student Association’s weekly soccer games.

“We used to play soccer together,” Nasri told Piers Morgan. “We used to hang out a few times. We weren’t too close — we were more acquaintances than friends. But he was really mostly a pretty good guy in that sense. He would always like ask for — if you needed any help with anything. So I’m really surprised at the outcome of what happened in the past week or so.”

A day later, Nasri told 60 Minutes that he tried to recruit Tsarnaev to the Muslim Student Association, without any luck. He left out that the soccer games where Tsarnaev was a regular player were MSA activities. He even seemed to suggest to Scott Pelley that had Tsarnaev joined MSA more seriously, the bombing wouldn’t have happened. According to the 60 Minutes report:

These friends saw him two weeks ago. He was a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Ahmad Nassri and Bassel Nasri tried, without luck to get him to join the MSA, the Muslim Student Association.

Scott Pelley: Did you see him at mosque? You see him at prayers? Nothing like that?

Group: No.

Bassel Nasri: No, unfortunately.

Scott Pelley: Unfortunately?

Bassel Nasri: I would’ve loved for him to come to the MSA a few times so he can maybe understand his religion better. Maybe that would, that would’ve helped in what happened, I would say.

Assuming Nasri is telling the truth — he, along with half a dozen other MSA members and their faculty sponsor, Neil Fennessey, did not return request for comments — he is wrong about the Muslim Student Association’s not being a haven for radicalism, explains David Reaboi, vice president of strategic communications at the Center for Security Policy.

“As the first group established by expat Muslim Brothers in America in the 1960s, the MSA has a history of Islamist radicalism,” Reaboi explains. “At the time, educational grants and fellowships in the US brought large numbers of university-age students from the Middle East to study, especially in the Midwest. The MSA began as a front for Brotherhood activity in this country by providing cover for these recently emigrated Brothers to meet and connect.”

In fact, several Muslim Student Association students have been brought up on terrorism charges. In April 2012, Muslim Student Association member Tarek Mehanna, who earned a doctorate at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, was sentenced to 17 and a half years for conspiring to aid al-Qaida. Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki (a.k.a. Omar Hammani), a terrorist leader and former president of the University of South Alabama’s Muslim Students’ Association, was added to the FBI’s Most Wanted List in 2012.

The Facebook page of the Muslim Student Association at University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth has over one hundred members and routinely advertises speeches and seminars taught by radical imams and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)’s Todd Gallinger, who visited the campus in the days after the Boston bombing.

Federal prosecutors in 2007 named CAIR as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in a criminal conspiracy to aid Hamas, and an FBI agent testified that the group was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. Although that case ended in a mistrial, the FBI in January 2009 instructed all field offices to cut ties with CAIR. Still, CAIR continues to be the go-to group for Muslim Student Association groups.

“Islamists’ hold on student groups like the MSA — which parallels the their hold on so-called Muslim ‘civil rights’ groups and other large Muslim organizations — speaks to the unfortunate monopoly Brotherhood-linked groups have over the organized Muslim community in the US,” says Reaboi.

In keeping with that radicalism, U. Mass-Dartmouth’s MSA Facebook group’s members repeatedly advertise talks by radical imams like Suhaib Webb of the Islamic Society of Boston’s Roxbury center. Webb, a convert to Islam who leads the largest mosque in New England, regularly preaches in the Cambridge mosque the two brothers attended.

Webb was an associate of Anwar Awlaki, an Al-Qaeda affiliated preacher killed in 2011 by a drone strike. Two days before the attacks of September 11, 2001, the two imams headlined a fundraiser [ pdf] on behalf of Jamil al Amin (a.k.a. H. Rap Brown), who had murdered two police officers. Webb and Awlaki raised $100,000 to pay for Amin’s legal defense.

Although local and national media have repeatedly cited Webb as a voice of moderate Islam in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, the Massachusetts governor’s office decided to replace him as a representative of Boston’s Muslim community at an interfaith service remembering the bombing victims.

Webb subsequently distanced himself from Awlaki, but Tsarnaev did not. According to The Daily Beast, Awlaki’s pro-jihad sermons were the inspiration behind the Boston Marathon bombings, and there’s some reason to think that a Twitter account belonging to Tsarnaev was retweeting pro-Awlaki messages.

Tsarnaev had also been following a radical account @Al_FirdausiA, who goes by the name “Ghuraba.” Tsarnaev was the first to follow that account, which usually signals a strong personal connection and possible sock puppetry. Both users followed one another, meaning that direct messages are possible.

Ghuraba created his account on March 11, 2013, just over a month before the bombings and praised terrorist and Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, whom Ghuraba recommends to his followers, saying that whoever listens to Awlaki will “gain an unbelievable amount of knowledge.”

On March 13, 2013, Tsarnaev retweeted one of Ghuraba’s messages: “It’s our responsibility my brothers & sisters to ask Allah to ease the hardships of the oppressed and give us victory over kufr #islam #dua

That same language of kufr, or “infidel,” was reportedly also used by Tsarnaev’s brother, as well, when he shouted down a speaker at a Boston-area mosque.

The Muslim Student Association’s faculty sponsor and leadership did not return requests for comment through phone calls, Facebook and email.

Don’t Joke About Obama or Islam

When the Polk Awards decided to honor the murdered cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo, one obvious name came to mind. Gary Trudeau.

If there is one man who represents the opposite of what the Charlie cartoonists did, it’s Trudeau. They took risks, Trudeau takes none. They lived knowing that they could be killed at any moment. There is no person on earth who would bother killing Gary Trudeau even if it was Kill Gary Trudeau Day.

Trudeau is that paradoxical creature, the establishment cartoonist, the party satirist, the hack who dares to say exactly what he is expected to say. Imagine NPR in a few black and white sketches. That’s Trudeau’s Doonesbury. Republicans are bad. Liberals are good. And then insert a topical reference.

The Polk Awards were the best forum for Trudeau. George Polk invented heroic wartime exploits that got him a job at CBS. Unlike Brian Williams, Polk did serve, but he was not a fighter pilot, he serviced aircraft. In Greece, his dubious reporting attacking Truman and the Greek government was defended by his lefty colleagues by inventing even more imaginary heroics that he had never claimed for himself.

By the time they were done, Polk had singlehandedly defeated the Japanese.

After Polk was murdered by Greek Communists, American lefties went all out to prove that there had been a conspiracy by the Greek government to silence him. All it took to believe in the Polk Conspiracy was a willingness to disregard the entire history of Communist activities and how casually its armed bands, agents and guerrillas killed people across the entire political spectrum for minor offenses.

But these revelations have not in any way interfered with the Polk Awards. And the Polk Awards decided to make Gary Trudeau the first cartoonist honored with an award. Trudeau would join a seminar on “Dangerous Lines: Cartoonists and Other Subversives” featuring such dangerous subversives as a writer for The Onion and Obama sycophant Jules Feiffer. It was a seminar so dangerously and outrageously subversive it could have been held at Whole Foods.

Trudeau reciprocated by blasting the murdered Charlie Hebdo cartoonists as free speech absolutists and bigots. He claimed that the cartoons of Mohammed did not “challenge authority” and argued that “Satire punches up, against authority of all kinds, the little guy against the powerful.”

While the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists had challenged the authority of a system of theocracy over a thousand years old, Trudeau’s latest cartoon mocks people stockpiling gasoline.

Trudeau’s rant, published in The Atlantic as “The Abuse of Satire”, claims that Charlie had pandered to the Jews while offending Muslims, described Muslims arrested for supporting the attacks as having exercised their freedom of speech, and contended that by, “attacking a powerless, disenfranchised minority with crude, vulgar drawings closer to graffiti than cartoons, Charlie wandered into the realm of hate speech”.

Supporting killing cartoonists for drawing Mohammed is free speech. Drawing Mohammed is hate speech.

Islamic Terrorism: Why There Is None In Japan
APRIL 13, 2015
Y.K. CHERSON

<More Here>

In 2011, Sunni Muslims accounted for the greatest number of terrorist attacks and fatalities for the third year in a row. Over 5,700 incidents were committed by Sunni Muslims, responsible for nearly 56 percent of all attacks and about 70 percent of 12,533 fatalities.*

Another 24 percent of the fatalities are on Shi´a Muslims. So in 2011, Muslims were responsible for 94 percent of the fatalities in terrorist attacks. Since 2011, with ISIS on the scene, the number of the fatalities –victims of the Muslim terrorist attacks- sharply grew, together with Muslims´ share in the world terrorism that is steadily closing in on 100%.

In 2013, according to the US Department of State, a total of 9,707 terrorist attacks occurred worldwide, resulting in more than 17,800 deaths and more than 32,500 injuries. In addition, more than 2,990 people were kidnapped or taken hostage. Information about perpetrators was reported in source materials for 32 percent of terrorist attacks in 2013.

And of these 32 percent, or 17,800 deaths, only three Muslim terrorist groups, namely the Taliban, ISIS and Boko Haram, were responsible for 5,655 fatalities, or for 31.76 percent! That means that 31.76 percent out of the 32 percent of terrorist attacks which had reported information about the attackers were perpetrated by only three Muslim terrorist groups, out of a good 50 more that exist in our turbulent world!

Muslim terrorists can be proud: their share in world terrorist attacks is now close to 100%.

Seems there is not a single country where Muslims would not show their true colors… But no! There is such a country. It’s one of the most developed countries on Earth, and its democratic nature is recognized worldwide, a true ally of the USA and a member of NATO. However, with all this, there was not a single terrorist attack perpetrated by Muslims in this country. Moreover, there was not a single, even minor, riot, disturbance or protest, no matter how many citizens of this country support cartoons of the prophet Muhammad published in some Danish newspaper or in a French magazine.

The name of this lucky country is Japan.

Of course, Japan achieved this by some super effective integration policy, through using the most advanced technologies and assigning billions of yen on the building of thousands of mosques and Islamic schools all over Japan, banning pork in all public places, introducing separate hours for boys and girls in swimming pools in all public schools, and Japanese male doctors do not dare touch their female patients, Muslim women get immense social aid each time they have a child, Shari´a courts were introduced in the judicial system of Japan, and the Koran is considered a Holy Book in Japan…

No, nothing of the kind. What Japan did to avoid problems related to Muslims was much simpler and cheaper; Japan is practically closed to Muslims.

The George Soros Secret Donor Retreat…

The meeting was more secure than the White House and the Mexican border.

Via WFB

Wealthy liberals from across the country discussed strategy and finances this Sunday during the Democracy Alliance’s biennial donor confab, where the number of supported groups grew by more than a dozen and funding targets grew by tens of millions of dollars above previous years.

The contrasts are stark at this week’s meeting of the nation’s foremost liberal donor club. Flashy sports cars ferry climate crusaders to a luxury hotel, a private security company shields prying eyes from speeches on political accountability, and billionaire Democratic donors denounce money in politics.

The Alliance is a hub of liberal and Democratic fundraising. It steers tens of millions of dollars each year to leading political and policy groups strategically vetted and endorsed by its staff of progressive operatives.[…]

Security was tight at San Francisco’s Four Seasons hotel, as the group hired its own security to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing the hotel’s conference area.

It set up disposal bins for “confidential” conference materials, where attendees could dispose of sensitive paperwork for “secure shredding.” The group brought along its own paper shredders.

Attendees dined on goat cheese and garlic polenta, sourdough French toast, Kobe beef, and chorizo-stuffed dates. They sipped fine Napa Valley wine. The minimum food and beverage charge for the event was $130,000 according to hotel documents.

Progressives’ main electoral problem, attendees were told, was an insufficiently populist message.

“Do you wonder why Elizabeth Warren memes dominate your Facebook feed? Come join us for a discussion of bold and winning strategies to alter the existing economic power structure,” one panel description asked of its considerably powerful audience.

Most conference-goers were wary of speaking with the press. One attendee who asked not to be identified said he had been instructed to inform Alliance staff of journalists asking questions about the week’s proceedings.[…]

The group acknowledges that their pledge of donor anonymity to groups that demand more political transparency is “ironic.” It has pledged to increase transparency in its operations, but has also assured DA “partners”—as its donors are known—that they will remain anonymous if they choose.

A Reader Admires Pam Geller’s Tactics In Garland
By VDARE.com Reader on May 5, 2015, 11:14 pm

Letter from an Anonymous Woman [ Email her]

Upon reading the Brenda Walker article I realized the true genius of the organization of this event.

As Geert Wilders said in his speech, they chose Garland for a REASON. Apparently, after the Charlie Hebdo attacks there were groups of Islamic whiners in Garland that staged a protest against free expression. ( Stand With The Prophet.)

So what did Geert and Pam decide to do? Go directly there and have a Draw a Muhammed contest!

Brilliant!

With top notch Dutch security and a Texas SWAT team, they were ready for what would be an entirely predictable Islamic reaction and had brave men in uniform armed and ready.

This was genius on a few levels:

A) It vindicated Wilders and Gellars claims that Islamists are against free speech and cannot handle criticism without violent reprisal.

B) It draws a line in the sand on the issue of free speech. It sends a message to the Islamic apologists and the open-borders types that massive Islamic immigration will always spur more of these attacks, whether they agree with Gellar and Wilder or not.

C) It forced the leftist owned Cultural Marxist media machine to engage in VICTIM BLAMING. REAL victim blaming, not the phony type of victim blaming that Left-wing harpies accuse Steve Sailer of when he blows one of their tall tales to bits.

In addition, it forced the media to side either with free speech or Islamic violence. Predictably, they sided with Islamic violence. Their narrative cannot allow them to side with “hate” like Geert or Pamela, after all they SAY naughty things.

I saw all the articles from all the usual culprits; NPR, Mic, Alternet, etc.

The funny thing was the comment section. The everyday leftists weren’t following the narrative of the Cultural Marxist media. Comment after comment sided with free speech over villainizing the event organizers, and these were people who are VERY “triggered” by the likes of Gellar and Wilder.

One commenter on an NPR article wrote something to the effect of “There were two kinds of people at that event last night. Those who spoke and those who shot. NPR decided to investigate and demonize the ones who spoke.”

Does it get any clearer than that?

I have a suggestion for Geert and Pamela- How about an American tour?

It would keep forcing the media to value political correctness over human life. Make the leftist media machine defend the Islamists over and over again.

Might wake some people up, don’t you think?

It’s worth a shot. I say they start fundraising.
