go into the 1998 prediction link with IDC.

The home will have appliance pc's, mid range pc's and low end pcs.
but, those that can afford the high end pcs will have one of those too...
then there is the web pc.

they all have a place... and I think the top compnaies will provide them all..
Right now DELL is the only one that doesn't get the picture.
the others are starting to laugh at DELL not gearing up for the lower cost pc's.
They know it was cpq's big mistake in 1990. Compaq's mistake while the others went to lower cost including dell was "We'll keep proviing the high end and be alright"...well in 1991, cpq fell right on it's bu-- with that strategy.
