More risk in surfing the web.
I don't agree. I rarely click on URL's, I'm extra cautions at search engines links and almost never on the links in my email, I was clicking on all links here at this forum. There were a lot of useful and good links posted here. I would 100 times easier get in trouble clicking on some masking and spoofed link here than somewhere else. Here I didn't have guards on. Until now.

So you guys want to keep that sneaky spoofing 'feature'? Fine. I will be very careful in the future on what link I will be clicking. SI and Computer Learning forum will be from now one much less useful for me.

Question is, am I the only 'paranoid' person here, or there may be few more. Many more? In this case you guys just managed to shoot yourself in the foot - again! Let's make this site less appealing, less useful.

I don't care about the risk of links at SI. I have avoided them since Bob Zumbrunnen exited. Poses no risk if not clicked on.

Of course, that doesn't add anything to the user experience.

But the audible alerts more than make up for that.
