Well, I think Monsanto is an easy target for liberals who are, for the most part, devoid of scientific understanding. You can bitch about pesticides all day, but they're essential if you want to feed all the people in the world. You can bitch about GMOs, but the reality is we'd be paying several times what food costs today without them. Integrated (IPM) methods make the best sense in most circumstances; but the idiots who are going after Monsanto really don't have the gumption to realize what the alternatives are. These are people who don't believe in science.
