Market is reacting as if we are headed for full-blown recession. Today Dow dropped close to 140 points. For the past 10 sessions almost 8 of them are down days. Nasdaq was down almost 9 of the past 10 sessions. What is going on?. Most companies business with Korea is about close to 5-7 % . But most company stocks are beaten to more than 30%. Sometime 40%. Isnt it a over reacting. Now Japan lost close to 1000 points in its Nikkei. This in my opinion is rediculous. This will happen if we are going for full blown recession. Now unemployment is at its low, inflation is almost arrested. Why is this negativity. SEA has problem. It has purely structural problem and a bit of financial problem. May be with the infusion of say $100-150Billion we can solve this problem. I know throwing money alone will not solve the problem unless there is a willingness to change the way they do business. Now they realize that and is willing to adopt the chagne. Korea, Japan is technologically very sound. I think this massacre in stock market is terribly overdone. I think tommorrow there will be an extreme. Either it will be a very positive day or it will be another massacre day.
