Michael:

AMZN? Amazon.com?

This stock hasn't had 200 trading days to average; long-term trend analysis isn't very helpful when there's no long-term trend.

As a rule, I stay away from stocks under $10 and stocks that don't have a five-year record. Any TA on those stocks is time wasted.

However... IF I were to tell you that the entry point for shorting AMZN was around 35, that would be my best guess. The stock has weak internals. The 50-day MA has just been broken to the downside. And I buy most of my books from amazon.com (best prices anywhere).

There is a website for charts at bigcharts.com, but I use a locally-brewed TA program to plot averages.

Sorry for the brevity; I have a lunch meeting shortly.
