“Liberals argue that the sheer fact of being human does not confer any moral worth.” Nonsense! Civilized humanists argue that abortion is a human rights issue. Almost all free thinkers would consider all human persons to have equal human worth. But a fetus is not a person until it individuates from the body of the mother. Otherwise, we could justifiably put potential mothers in solitary confinement and chains and morally FORCE them to carry to full term. The absurdity of considering such behaviour as moral cannot possibly escape the awareness of even the most superstitious and misguided person--repeating grades--but passing Genesis and Leviticus with flying colors!
