W/O--I was short s+p futures on the merc, and did great today on the 15 point limit down move. I really like the short side of equity market. I have given up trying to pick individual stocks (except for 1 gold stock, sold today at a small +) in the present market and have just been going short the 500 after it runs up, then sell into the weakness, then wait till the next buy (short) on a runup. Looks like I was semi correct about the triple witch regarding covering in gold futures. Long silver has been the metals play so far.
