Mike, You'll probably cover when Atmel makes its traditional pre-earnings rally next month. You appear to be new to investing and are attempting to trade stocks based more on emotions than anything else. No one here would have questioned you had you shorted ATML in the 40s. In fact, no one would have questioned you had you bought PUTs. Too bad you'll have to find out the hard way what happens when you short stocks trading at historic lows. As one other investor pointed out here, you'll be one of the folks adding fuel to the fire when Atmel rallies. Hope you get out before losing too much. Mark
