Now, there are signs that is changing, as American health care is on the decline, but it is far too early to detect how extensive it will become.

Wow...did you take moderation pills over the weekend...until then the system was in "total collapse".

The true harm comes with innovation is killed, and that will take a longer time to evolve than just seeing lousier care.

Did you watch 60mins this sunday? The piece on glioblastoma research at Duke? Amazing work...innovation has its own momentum. What motivated Barnard to do the first heart transplant or these people at Duke to break new ground in cancer research? ACA won't change any of that...

NONE OF THEM are saying, "Shit, these Obamacare changes have really made things better." NONE. NOT ONE have I heard this from. And I have customers who are liberals, conservatives, and libertarians. I'm just not seeing it. Maybe you are. But in the four states where we provide services I don't see it.

Why would it make things better for them? They are always bellyaching anyway...from their posh homes and surroundings.

Al

Inode,
But it is significant to me that I don't see any health care professionals who believe the situation is improved.
That's what I have observed as well.

But I have noticed that those with liberal leanings will just accept the situation for what it is because they believe in reducing the number of uninsured.

Or they'll just quietly accept the shortcomings of the current law and double-down on the "final solution," which of course is single-payer.

At best, that's where I expect Alighieri position to ultimately migrate to, once he realizes (but will NEVER admit) that he's been sold a bill of goods.
