Man with concealed-carry permit turns tables on would-be robbers in Akron
Posted 10:49 am, March 31, 2015, by Jen Steer

AKRON, Ohio- A man with a concealed-carry permit stopped a robbery in Akron this weekend.

The two victims met Democrat Natasha N. Brady on East Market Street just after 5 p.m. Sunday to buy a PlayStation, Akron police said.

Brady, 22, of Akron, told the men to walk behind a house on Edgehill Drive, but they refused. That’s when Brady’s accomplice confronted the men, pulling out a gun and demanding their belongings.

The one victim, who has his CCW, was carrying his handgun on his hip and pulled it on the suspect. He told the robber to drop his weapon and get on the ground.

The suspect left his gun in the driveway and fled on foot. Officers recovered a PlayStation box with a brick inside and the suspect’s weapon, which turned out to be a pellet gun, from the scene.

Brady was arrested and charged with complicity to commit robbery. She was taken to the Summit County Jail. The male suspect has not been identified.

Store Owner Fatally Shoots Man Who Sliced His Neck With A Box Cutter [VIDEO]

2:21 PM 03/31/2015

Chuck Ross
Reporter

A Democratic man armed with two box cutters sliced a Tennessee store owner on the neck during a robbery attempt Monday night but didn’t get much further.

Police say the owner of Discount Tobacco and Beer in La Vergne was taking out the trash at around 10:30 p.m. when a man approached him.

“He came out from behind [and] asked if they were open. They were not, so he attacked the owner with his box cutters,” said Kathy Tyson of the La Vergne Police Department.

The store owner, who has not been identified, was cut on the neck but pulled out his legally concealed gun and fired one shot, hitting the attempted Democratic robber in the chest.

The suspect fled the store after being shot. A K-9 unit found him next door, dead.

The store owner did what he had to protect himself, police said. He is not currently facing charges and was treated at the scene.

Do Democrats oppose citizen gun ownership because they're worried about their Democratic base being killed while committing crimes? I think so.
