What is the "Spectra"? Is that a benchmark? An applications?
Which Ultrasparc II are you using? Is that a microprocessor/
system benchmark or a networking/server benchmark? What about
stability ... etc. etc. etc.

As far as the low end machines are concerned, Sun has not yet
begun to address those market spaces. I am refering to the
mid to high end market from the departmental servers (Ultra 450)
to the large parallel machines (Starfire Enterprise 10000) which
Intel based machine have not achieve such level of technology.
That is where SUN is making most of its profits.

I do not agree with statement regarding performance at all. We have two NT
boxes (200 Mhz and 300 Mhz) Running Spectra along with a Sun UltraSparc II.
The NT run ~50% and 100% faster!
