He doesn't, and I'm pretty sure the more flaming of my gay facebook friends don't, either. But this is just a matter of tolerance. As a heterosexual, I am totally tolerant of homosexual lifestyles, in fact i absolutely don't care one way or the other. But I do recognize that religious tolerance, while I'm not a very religious person myself, is the most important freedom we have as Americans. More important than a right to choose sexual orientation or anything else. If you don't have absolute religious freedom, you've got nothing. But religious freedom is personal -- which means each person is free to make his/her own decisions about it. That means what/who/how many you marry. The state should have no say. As the proprietor of a business if I have a religious objection to ANYONE who walks in the door I should have the right to run them out. A religious exception is not a racist objection. It is not a sense that I don't want that guy in here because of who he sleeps with. It is, "My religious beliefs say it is wrong for me serve homosexuals in my business establishment." Those occasions will be sufficiently rare to allow the courts to settle them. I guarantee you someone is going to the Supreme Court over these laws if they are allowed to stand because so much has been made of them. And there is a reasonable shot the Court will uphold them as a matter of law. Then what? Are we going to have homos rioting in the streets looting TV stores?
