No, Ben, haven't heard of them but if it's.....
At no cost to HTSF and.....
Results in 100% increase......
Then I don't think that we need to pole the shareholders here to see if we support the interview <g>.

If you decide to go ahead, please let us know when it is.

Thanx

Marc

PS: Sorry, but we only have 5 schools.

I called Sandy. I clicked up stock-line.com. Seems good and "legit". Pretty neat!

STOCKLINE.COM appears to be an interesting site. Does anyone have time to check out their claim of a 100% increase? You know, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is too good to be true!!!!

While I generally agree that "it couldn't harm anything," HTSF needs to be careful to have positive and legit associations.

Just being conservative with our company.

Doing a yahoo search on "stock-line" yielded a stockline (no hyphen) that looks pretty shady. The only US company covered in that one was trading at $1.47 at the time of their interview (March 20, 1997 -- and it was the most recent one in the archives) and is now at 53 cents.

That was the only one that Yahoo turned up.

Typing stock-line for a URL (with the hyphen) pulled up an entirely different site, and hopefully the one you're talking about.

A quick browse showed they had interviewed PPD (one of my faves for many years). I'm listening to an interview with Jim Oberweiss right now.

I'm sure this latter one is the one we're talking about and if it is, I would love to see them interview you. Let me load up a bit more today. <g>

Side note about Stock-line.

They run a message board there called Rumor Central. I did searches for messages regarding my favorite penny stock, ARET, and got about 6 hits. Of those 6, 4 were nothing more than ads for an adult internet site, one was a flame, and the other was a message asking where to find penny stock info.

Further reading of other messages showed extremely foul language, blatant threats of bodily harm ("I'd think twice before starting your car tomorrow") and absolutely no supervision. Looked like a kiddie chat room on a BBS. And served as further evidence of why the semi-moderated format of SI is such a great thing.

The more I find out about stock-line, Ben, the less I like it.

BTW, the folks in the ABMC thread were apparently unaware their CEO had been interviewed. They're trying to figure out why the stock tanked suddenly. One of them was just told by the IR folks that the company would be listed soon, probably this week, as they've been above $4 for 10 days. Looks like a pipe dream to me.....
