I surprised even myself keeping this up. Too far along to quit now. I think I actually missed two months somewhere in the beginning.
Regardless of what type of dividend investing one does, imho it takes more time to show if you are somehow making a difference
I say dividends, but then I've owned a few non dividend payers along the way.

Even two portfolios made up from throwing darts at the list of Aristocrats wouldn't end up the same.

I use DVK as a DGI to compare to, but really wish I had more than just his in the strict DGI line. If there is
another that started or was already going like Davids, I haven't found it.

I wouldn't even begin to argue that his portfolio is safer than my dividend side. That is today. He has his goal
set to hit June 1st 2018. I'll see where we are at then. FWIW, I believe he is in a critical year as far as hitting
his 10% yoc goal.

I've had Yahoo giving me some funky stuff lately too. On Ameritrade, I just wish they would leave what works
alone. I always click back to old view because everything I want is there. I have sent at least a half dozen
e-mails voicing my opinion.

Problem this morning was that some of what I had posted was word for word the same as what I had in
the SA article. YOC stuff. I really didn't think it was going to get published, and then when it did, I scrambled to try
and not hit any of their exclusivity buttons. Couldn't get part of a post deleted, so I copied everything into
Word, and then couldn't get it to paste back. So bad, I had to go for a short walk. lol!

Anyone who has read this far could do my local SPCA a favor and click on the link to my article below.
Odds are I have to do another article, as they don't pay until you hit $100, but it could possibly make it with
this one. $35 for getting published and up to $40.91 now. We are talking the big bucks here. I'll do my best
to get a screen shot or some other form of confirmation that I'm not pocketing all that dough. lol!

I'll tell you up front that the money will be donated in memory of the best dog ever. Mr. Winston, my Westie, whose name is tattooed on my shoulder.

Ameritrade just sent out an email about the big full transition to new positions page.
I sent them one back that I was about ready to switch brokers.
