briefly:

in the 4 sectors: productivity (+), education (-), entertainment (++), and the
affiliated labels (--). excluding riven, there was little sign of overall growth,
and there isn't much to hope for in the future pipeline. when asked what
special measures that brod is taking to beef up the pipeline, the answer was
essentially none. i was impressed, however, by the frankness of the
management during the call, and their willingness to give out detailed
numbers of the breakdown sales and profits. there were only two occations
that the management seemed to be in trouble during the call: one was
about the rising account receiveable over the past four years, and the other
was about the future pipeline. both were right to the weakness of brod.
the high receiveable may affect the near term numbers, and the weak
pipeline may spell trouble for the long term.

i like the company, and its products. i just wish that Q1 numbers were better.
