I don't think anyone of note wrote that as I saw it being repeated without the benefit of an author. Some have suggested the top guy at ESPN but I think they were just trying to be funny too.

I think I should post this to golfer72 but I wanted to make a comment on Calipari and his team. I don't follow college basketball like I use to so I was surprised when I heard that Kentucky had only played two games against ranked teams in the regular season. Both times it was Ark. Could this be true? If so it may help account for why they weren't as ready for better teams when the playoffs started. I believe in iron sharpens iron when it comes to sports teams. They might would have had a regular season loss but won it all in the end. For all the close games they won I think its clear their sheer talent advantage was the biggest factor.

You don't get to as many final fours as he has without being a very good coach. He's won one and should have won this year too. If he stays in the college game I could see him winning a couple more easily. Choked? I don't know. Sometimes your players just have to step up and make big plays.
