The mission is to force everyone to follow the teachings lest they be punished. That's exactly what liberals are doing. Look at how they tried to punish Memories Pizza for their heretical thought crime. Look at how the florist, Mrs Stutzman, is being punished in Washington. Evil liberals want that poor woman made homeless and destitute. And none of the Christian small business people the left is persecuting have done anything to harm anyone. Can't get what you want from one business, go to another.
