Can someone explain the volume on this chart. This morning volume came in and drove the ES much higher fairly quickly. Then at the end of the day we had HUGE volume according to this chart, and the ES went nowhere. If it was everyone covering the long day positions, then I would have expected the market to tank, but the bar with all the volume is a very low range bar. It is like a bunch of churning, but no one really doing anything. Anyone have any thoughts as to how to read that one bar vs the rest of the day? Weird me thinks. Makes me wonder if the data I have is wrong....
