I will take Kissinger's view with a grain of salt. I saw his appearence in PBS. He went a great length to defend chinese government's policy. Even claimed that 1989 chinese communist crack down is GOOD for china. And there were some unproven accusation that he greatly profited from his relationship with asian leaders.

Sure, Korean got the production capacity, but can they operate it profitably? Can their people afford their own products? Maybe they can convert to communist or nationalism which may solve all the problems.<g>
