Any reputable broker can buy stocks on foreign exchanges for your account. You may want to see if there are ADRs on the stocks you want. Also, remember, you have currency issues with foreign stocks.

Just my two cents.

Investing in Europe, ADRs, etc.

Simonds,

One of the best websites I know for international investing is the Global Investor at

global-investor.com

They have a large section devoted to ADRs from all possible countries and educational stuff as well.

In general, whereever poosible, I would stick to trading ADRs since transaction costs are generally much higher in Eurpoe than in the U.S. While discount brokerage is now an accepted concept over here, too, we still have a long way to go to catch up with the U.S. in this regard, as in many others <g> .

I hope you can use a bit of the above. Please write me again, if I can be of any further help.

May I also direct your attention to the recently created Asian Forum. I'd be happy if the forum finds the interest of as many people as possible.

Greetings,
Thomas
