Interesting. Never expected TX to rank so high in property taxes. With one being the least tax, and 50 being the most tax, TX ranks 47th. Interestingly enough, CA ranks 17th. How CA has an income tax and TX doesn't.

Little Rock VA Hospital To Tear Down Never-Used Solar Panels To Make Room For A Parking Garage…

The VA sounds like a bunch of incompetents who can't do anything right. Their employees are unionized, can't be fired, probably spend all day surfing porn in their offices while patients are neglected.

$8 Million for green energy that could have been used for medical care.

Two years after being completed, $8-million-worth of solar panels at a Little Rock, Ark., Veterans Affairs hospital have never been turned on, and now the hospital is tearing down some of the panels.

A chunk of the roughly 7,000 inactive solar panels outside the Little Rock Veterans Affairs Hospital was recently dismantled to make way for a new parking garage, Little Rock news outlet KATV reports.[…]

In a statement to the Washington Free Beacon, Rep. French Hill (R., Ark.) said his office will investigate the project.

“The $8 million solar panel project, which appears to have been changed on a whim, may seem like a drop in the bucket when compared to the staggering $18 trillion federal debt, but every expense must be fully justified and our financial resources directed to assisting those we are trying to help—in this case Arkansas’s veterans,” Hill said. “If this story proves accurate, then simply put this is a government failure, and I will work with Congressional leadership and the VA to figure out how such a blatant waste of taxpayer money was ever allowed to occur.”

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure this out.
The manufacturer of the panels donated to Barack Obama's election campaign. In exchange, they received a grant or loan guarantee. They sold the panels to another Barack Obama campaign contributor who had a third Barack Obama campaign contributor install the panels. The purchase was ordered by Barack Obama appointees, who got their jobs because they bundled campaign contributions for the Barack Obama campaign. You know, don't you, that the defense department was installing solar panels on mud buildings in remote Afghanistan, don't you? Same thing. What exactly do you think this green energy thing is all about? Saving Mother Earth?

The Alexandria VA has the same useless solar system. It has never worked properly according to several employees. This waste has been caused by our "elected" not paying attention to the needs of our Vets. I wonder which of obama's friends made the "coin" on this boondoggle?
