Interesting. Never expected TX to rank so high in property taxes. With one being the least tax, and 50 being the most tax, TX ranks 47th. Interestingly enough, CA ranks 17th. How CA has an income tax and TX doesn't. wallethub.com

The manufacturer of the panels donated to Barack Obama's election campaign. In exchange, they received a grant or loan guarantee. They sold the panels to another Barack Obama campaign contributor who had a third Barack Obama campaign contributor install the panels. The purchase was ordered by Barack Obama appointees, who got their jobs because they bundled campaign contributions for the Barack Obama campaign.
