I remember last December I saw a group of 3 analysts on CNN pretty much agreeing that 1997 will see a DOW decline in the first half of the year followed by a rise in stock prices in the second half of the year putting the DOW somewhat above where it was (10 to 20 percent). Now go to Yahoo and click on DOW. Listening to their advice would have meant missing about a 1000 points in 1H97. By the way we were supposed to be irrationally exuberant when the DOW was at 6500 (I'm still a big fan of Greenspan though). quote.yahoo.com^DJI&d=2y I wish there was a web site, quoting and tracking these guys on their recommendations and predictions and then issuing DOWNGRADES on their skills where they failed.
