No one has forgotten David Duke, but I don't see him representing anyone in Congress. In his one run where he actually did get elected, it was on a few thousand votes in a special election. Every Republican politician distanced himself from Duke and Duke was never a successful politician by any measure.

OTOH, Bob Byrd represented the Democrat party until he died. Decades. And continued as a functioning racist until near death.

There really is no comparison.

Funny how they remember Byrd, but have totally forgotten David Duke.

How long was David Duke a leader of the US Senate........one of 100 people that make the laws of this country?

Funny how you equate the two. (no it's not, but understandable when you have to make something up)
