I did not know WA state did not have income taxes when I moved here.
People who don't have incomes usually don't care about the lack of income taxes.

But they would definitely care about sales taxes. Which of course Oregon doesn't have.

Do you miss having to file a state tax return every year? I bet you don't.

I've never lived in WA and I know it has no income tax.

BTW you could have moved to Oregon, similar climate and income taxes. In fact, I think the cities there have income taxes.
