There are also land and geology issues with Van Dyke that I've never seen in any discussions. Neither Van Dyke nor Carmax are going to move the needle. Only Schaft Creek has value, if and only if Teck reveals an intention to continue the steps required to position themselves for a production decision.

Consider too that Gunnison likely faces fewer permitting issues and social licence is more likely than VD.

Actually, Excelsiors project is facing strong and organized opposition, and Miami seems to be looking forward to the increased employment.

VD will have some issues to face too for sure due to the proximity and chemicals and acid used in such close proximity to the town.

The VD project is way behind Gunnison in both development and size and likely not worth a whole lot at PEA and inferred only. The close proximity to neigbouring producers is a plus. On the flip side, if Gunnison can clear the hurdle of the organized opposition their SP should increase dramatically. I was considering investing there until I read the opposition website:
