[BROD]

Brod is off-pissing. Beat earnings, got hammered with a suspicious "it met our $35 target, so we downgrade to hold from buy" - off more than $5 today. Too bad they didn't miss, so it would have rallied!

Geez.

Hi Tom,

Of your long list of stocks - I dont believe NKE will return to its glory. A name in Athletic clothing & shoes is a fragile thing subj to all fashion whim. Besides its past price is a reflection of over-valuation even in the past growth rate. I like UNH better than AET - UNH already is turning around while it has been 2 years now AET still struggle to find its way in managed care. How good the management is ? Now they let the CFO go ? And you believe we need more prisons ? :)

Seriously, I believe some of the previous high flyers can never regain their prices because they never deserved that kind of prices from valuation stand point to begin with - take CXC, it was the mo players push it to that level. just like what happened with CSCC, ASND, PAIR.

Tom, I'm ready to be a buyer of SEG (Seagate) on any dip to 18-19 or below. Its a very long support on the chart, they had their selling early and have had a longer recovery process, its stock sentiment is very low while its actual fundamental consolidation out of adversity is good, recent CMP questionaires have shown them gaining in the market place, especially as its aquisition of Connor is paying off and its making intiatives in mating its assembly to the short order custom sale approach DELL and others are running with.

I got a list too, some of the same as yours. Take a look at CY, CS, and HCIA, especially HCIA.

My dear, the violent action this morning was due to unwinding of positions and fundies taking profits off the table. Unwinding is near completion for this options expiry and tape action at the moment suggest the market will have a benign close.

As for the semi equipmakers and other sector outlooks, I shall post some thoughts this weekend... after my Xmas shopping is done!

TT,

Looking at your list of stocks, note you have several in health care related areas, are you very familiar with the field ?

Can you tell me something about GHV ? It looks to me a good concept on elderly care.

Did some more digging on PHYC - it looks a better value than HBOC.
