Most human societies have denigrated homosexuality. Only a few tolerate it. None really honor it like modern leftists. OK, that is just for pretend. Male homosexuals are very promiscuous and are vectors for the spread of diseases. Perhaps that's the reason or part of it. Quite apart from what any religion says, I think being gay is a curse. I once saw a Morgan Spurlock show that showed a bunch of gay men in a bar in San Francisco, unhappily remarking on how terrible it was to be gay ... and this was in SF. IOW I got the opposite of the line the show was trying to promote.
